So, I was doing homework, and listening to a mix CD I have, when Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" song came on. For the first time in my life, I actually listened to the words. This song is actually quite sad. She's leaving the man she loves and is singing about how she'll always love him even though she has to go... (I presume her significant other is a male anyways). Don't people play this for the wedding song? No offense to anyone who did, but... do they actually listen to the words? Dolly Parton origanaly sang the song to Burt RReynolds in The Best lIttle Whorehouse in Texas. She was telling him goodbye because she did not think that the Sherriff would want to marry a prostitute madam. It was sad to see and here it in the context it was ment for. Whitney redid the song and so many don't know it is a movie song from so long ago.
You know what, now that you say that I remember hearing it on the movie. I saw the movie once a long time ago amd completely forgot. I think there are so many songs which were originally done by someone else that have been redone today, and no one knows. Rally quite sad if you think about it.
